One of the main characteristics of process equipment production from stainless materials is the use of thin metal sheets, which is the case, e.g. in the production of INOX containers.
Vacuum grips are often used in handling the thin metal sheets, whereby the grip is placed on a bridge crane or simple crane.
The most common choice is a bridge crane of up to 10 tonnes or jib cranes of up to 2 tonnes.
Cranes are also useful in related production processes of:
- equipment to be used in food-processing industry (notably in beer-brewing and wine-making)
- and the pharmaceutical industry, notably for medical equipment.
